Lovina Festival – July 18 to 21, 2025
Dolphins aren’t the only thing putting Lovina on the map this July — the festival’s got music, food, and arts that’s worth the trip.
I bet you’ve heard of this village at least once — and yep, probably because of the dolphins that roam around the sea at sunrise. But have you heard of the festival? Alright, in short, it’s a 5-day local celebration with all kinds of traditional performances, music, dance shows, art displays, and beachside activities happening in one of the chillest parts of Bali.
It kicks off with a big parade through the village streets, then flows into exhibitions of Balinese culture — from gamelan and kecak shows to craft markets and culinary booths. At night, there’s usually live music by the water and food vendors cooking everything from satay to grilled fish. It’s got a humble, friendly feel. It's not super commercial, and you know what? That's what makes it special. If you’re around and want something more vibrant than just enjoying the beaches, this is it.
