1. Melia Bali

This family resort creates a tropical atmosphere, thanks to immediate access to the Indian Ocean plus the well-kept shoreline. Kids and kids at heart can also enjoy a variety of activities within the property. We’re talking about Bali, so expect many of these to involve the water. But for a change of pace, in case your kid doesn’t enjoy watersports, how about a round of a virtual golf game?

The kids club is also open from 9 am to 9 pm. Consider this a getaway for children! Kids can have exclusive space for kid-friendly entertainment options like kayaking, art and craft workshops, and other adventures.

While the kids are busy with plenty of activities, mum and dad can enjoy themselves at any of the five restaurants and three bars, where there are menus of delectable food and drinks for breakfast, lunch, snack, or cocktails for dinner. If you have to pick one, nothing can beat the way the Lotus Asian Restaurant does it! While dining, you can watch Balinese performances that show the island’s rich history. You don’t have to cut the course short to fully appreciate the little slice of heaven in this part of Asia. With babysitting service and child care facilities nearby, you can ensure the safety of your kids the entire time, even if you don’t have a nanny.

Expert Opinion

I’ve been in Bali now for ten years, and I can’t help but miss my family in Jakarta. Because of the distance, I didn’t get to see many of my nieces and nephews grow from toddlers to teens. That’s why I try to make up for it by inviting them to a trip to the island from time to time.

I stand by every recommendation I made in this article. But if I have to choose just a few, these properties are definitely the best of the best family resort in Bali:

Meliá Bali, Conrad Nusa Dua Bali, Intercontinental Resort

Again, all resorts and boutiques here are amazing. The entertainment options for kids and teenagers as well as the other attractions designed for everyone are top-notch. The management teams of the different resorts have taken into account what people normally look for in a family holiday. I admit that my top three options aren’t everyone’s style. For me, I think it’s just a matter of preference. So, if you have friends that understand what you’re looking for, ask them what they think as well. More importantly, consider additional services that any member of the travellers in your family may need.

Everyone in the family, mum, dad, and kids, usually look for different

Juggling the different desires and priorities of mum, dad, and the kids can be tricky. So, we hope that in the list, you’ll find the perfect environment and accommodation to savour the tropical paradise that is Bali.
