7 Best Beach Clubs in Uluwatu

By Putri, 2024.01.17

South Bali is one of the go-to sports in Bali for everyone who wants to party in the beach clubs in Uluwatu. Even though I’m from the island, I’m still amazed by its natural beauty: cliffs, the beaches, the waves, and everything else! It’s not surprising that travellers all around the world love them too!

Party in one of the Best Beach Clubs in Uluwatu

People (including me!) can’t get enough of beach clubs in Uluwatu. I’ve been to many of them, and based on my experience, here are the best spots to visit:

1. Single Fin, Uluwatu

Whether you like chilling by the sandy shores or hitting a wave or two, Single Fin is a great place. It’s a popular hangout for the surfing community because of the chill vibes and beautiful views. But even if you’ve never even touched a surfboard your entire life, you’re welcome here!

What I like about this spot is how spacious it is. This allows visitors to enjoy the scenery from different places, thanks to how they arranged the seating areas. There’s the cliffside terrace, upper-level lounge, and central bar space to choose from. But no matter where you want to sit, make sure to reserve your table in advance. It’s free to get in, so the place fills up pretty quickly.

The ocean breeze is great. But if you’re looking for free entertainment with your drink, they also hold surf events and competitions here. As someone who prefers to appreciate the sport from a distance, I’ve found this to be the perfect spot for watching them on their paddle board and ride the waves.

At Savaya Bali, you have the option to pick from a range of tables, including cabanas, bungalows, and daybeds. 3. El Kabron

The waves crashing into the sea plus a beautiful view of the sunset? I know it sounds cliche, but you should give it a try! And for this, I think there’s no better place than El Kabron Beach Club in Pecatu, Bali. The place really comes alive at night, so I like to get here before sunset. This ensures I get a seat and settle before the crowd comes in. It’s laid-back enough that I can enjoy the place on my own, but it’s still better with friends. They have a lot of snacks and drinks on their menu, so everyone can find something they feel like getting at the moment. Don’t forget to take a picture with everyone by the infinity pool! The view of the Indian Ocean from there is really something else.

The place also closes late at night, so you can have your dinner here without rushing. Their mains are mostly from the Spanish and Mediterranean cuisines, using fresh catch straight from the island.

4. Tropical Temptation

Everyone (myself included) is tempted to pop into a nearby landmark at the Melasti Beach, Tropical Temptation. The food is so great that even people who aren’t big on the club scene come here. It’s all made with fresh ingredients, so you know it is the best. What do I like to do most here? Hanging out at the club pool, or by the shores. If you prefer some alone time, catch a glimpse of the Indian Ocean and enjoy live music provided by DJs. Watching others play beach volleyball, practice yoga or get a massage is also fun.

Are you too curious to see the place? You’ll be happy to hear that admission is free. However, to stay you will need to buy something to eat or drink.

If you’re seeking a wonderful beach experience after partying, Karma Beach Club, Uluwatu, could be the ideal choice for you. The entrance is located on a cliffside, from where a funicular takes guests down to the beach for a breathtaking ride. This spot offers spectacular ocean views of Bali’s exclusive beach, reserved for the club’s guests. Isn’t it what you’re looking for?

For the few times I’ve been here, I enjoyed relaxing in comfy bean bags, day beds, and sun loungers. Yes, I know that it’s not about partying, but who can blame me for checking out the place in this way? Besides, now you know the place is also good for visits during the daytime. Meanwhile, the spot is also family-friendly. Couples with children can have a great time with the variety of activities available, too. There’s even complimentary water sports equipment that they can use. But the food is what makes this place stand out. Check out the delectable Suckling Pig BBQ and mouthwatering Mediterranean dishes.

On the weekends, Karma Beach Club holds parties, and on Fridays, bands play live music. On Saturdays, some dancers perform with fire. And on Sundays, there is a show called Savage Sunday with a cabaret performance. It’s a beautiful salty day escape!

Because their menu features food from many international cuisines, you can always have your favourite dish from your country.
