The Reservation

Reservations at this Uluwatu nightclub can be made via WhatsApp. Although this seems to be cheaper than paying at the door, in the end you'll pay around IDR 145K after the fees, which means you only save 5K.

The Parking Space

Unlike other beach clubs, we suggest you bring your own vehicle as the parking is significant enough. We don't really recommend taking Grab/Gojek or a taxi because Savaya Bali doesn't allow pick-up close to the entrance. You need to walk to the pick-up point, which is a 5 to 10-minute walk.

Our Experience at Savaya Bali Beach Club

Although Savaya has never advertised its venue as a nightclub in Bali we beg to differ. Savaya is very fitting for having a party in Bali, whether in the afternoon or in the evening, because the vibe here doesn't change even when the dark settles.

Facilities at Savaya Bali Beach Club

The infinity pools at Savaya Bali are possibly the most panoramic out of the many beach clubs in Bali. Also, with the additional pool bar, you'll spend more time here than on your daybeds. They also have a bar at The Cube ‒ the giant rectangular icon of Savaya Bali ‒ where you can sip your cocktails and enjoy the stunning views.

The Cabana at Savaya Bali makes for the ultimate VIP experience as it has its own pool and very strategic seating arrangements, giving you the best view of the house. It also has a safety deposit box for you to protect your valuables if you want to swim.

Music at Savaya Bali Beach Club

The genres of music playing at Savaya change every day. From Monday to Thursday, it's Hip-Hop, RnB, and pop electronic. The house music is reserved for Saturday, and Sunday is when the beats of deep house/Afro/ethnic hits the venue.

What We Like and What We Don't Like About Savaya Bali Beach Club

What We Like

  • The view of the ocean is second to none. There is no denying the spectacular view of the Indian Ocean and seeing it from this elevation made it even more impressive.

  • The building and the overall aesthetic are simply breathtaking. We understand why Instagram influencers rave about the place; it is extremely scenic and photogenic. The infinity pool and the Cube are simply irresistible!

  • The music and the beat are what make Savaya Bali a must-visit beach club in Bali. If you're looking for a vibe different from your usual beach club scene, this is the place to be, especially if your favourite artist is performing.

  • The age restriction is actually something we highly appreciate. Since no guest under 21 years old is allowed, there are no kids running around and, for people who want to enjoy the true beach club experience, this place is the real deal.

  • The cocktails are some of the best we've had. Though food and drink can be hit and miss in a beach club, the cocktails at Savaya Bali are actually pretty good!

What We Don't Like

  • It's way more expensive than any other beach club we have ever visited. Aside from the entrance fee (which we didn't mind paying), every seat at Savaya Bali costs a fortune. Even by Bali standards, Savaya is really expensive.

  • No pick-up policy at the entrance. This is quite inconvenient, especially after you're partying hard and you still have to walk for 5 or 10 minutes to hail/order your Grab/Gojek.

  • The service could have been better and faster. We waited a while for our food to arrive. Though we'd understood this if the place was packed, there were just a few people inside so the place was mostly empty.

Expert Opinion about Savaya Bali Beach Club

Aside from surfing, going to Savaya Bali should be included in your itinerary of things to do in Uluwatu, especially if you're into Bali nightlife. The party in Uluwatu scene is unquestionably different than in Canggu, but Savaya Bali acts as a magnet that attracts partygoers.

As one of the finest beach clubs in Uluwatu and being among the best clubs in Bali, it is reasonable to expect something extraordinary and, to some degree, the experience was sensational. But is it worth spending the money? If you're looking for an uninterrupted view of the Indian Ocean and are interested in seeing The Cube up close, then yes, absolutely. Generally speaking though, we believe that it's more worthwhile visiting Savaya Bali when an international artist plays at the venue, when we know the vibe would be 100 times better than visiting on an ordinary day.

Is it still a destination not to be missed? Absolutely! Despite it being more expensive than other beach clubs in Bali, the experience at Savaya is going to be a memorable one for you. We suggest you check out the place yourself and get ready to bask in Uluwatu's most luxurious beach club

We had an incredible two days at Diplo and Lil Jon this past weekend. The staff’s attention to detail was outstanding, they were super friendly and helpful throughout the weekend. The views were gorgeous and the architecture was beautiful. I highly recommend Savaya if you’re ever in Bali. I was super impressed. It’s a very well-run establishment, with international artists, and breathtaking views of the Uluwatu coastline.

One of the best beach clubs I’ve been to. It’s a bit far but it was worth it. The food was great. Vip service. It’s a wonderful place to spend the whole day with friends. The vibes are so chill and the DJ started playing as soon as the sun set. P.S. Their crispy pork belly was so good, I had to have two more lol.

Hi everyone! My name is Catur, and I was born and raised in Central Java. I moved to Bali in 2011 but left the island in 2016 before returning in 2018. Bali feels more than a home to me, and maybe that’s why my name feels like a premonition. Catur means four, both in the Balinese and Javanese languages. It is spoken like ‘c’ in chess, which is also the meaning of my name in Indonesian.
