Our experts’ experience from Donna Ubud
Reservations at Donna Ubud aren't mandatory, but they're highly recommended, especially if you're coming on a weekend or close to sunset (golden hour hits differently from their rooftop!). Reservations can be made via WhatsApp or Instagram, and the process is quick and responsive.
As for parking, it's a little tricky because it's in the center of Ubud and the streets are quite busy. Donna doesn't have a large private parking lot, so you can park at the Ubud central parking lot near Monkey Forest. It is recommended to take an online taxi if coming in a group or at night.
The service is quite impressive, from the friendly welcome of the staff upon arrival to the helpful and personalized menu explanation. They are also quick to respond if we ask for food recommendations or want to know the ingredients. The food comes with a very Instagram-worthy presentation, and their drinks are also nicely curated (especially the signature cocktails). Overall, our experience was very pleasant!
