Lava Gastrobar & Grill
Lava Gastrobar & Grill brings volcanic heat to the dining scene in Sanur. The newly opened restaurant bursts the flame to your table by focusing on fire-grilled cuisine. Like Bali’s majestic volcanoes, Lava delivers you the primitive way of cooking but with modern, bold, and complex flavors. The combo of natural stone and wooden interior only intensifies the vibe at Lava and shows you that your meals are not the only thing cooked in by flame, but your soul will get all giddy and warm.

Why Do We Choose the Lava Gastrobar & Grill?
We’re so invested in the Lava Gastrobar & Grill concept because we’ve seen nothing like it in Sanur. And knowing they go all the way by using lava rocks to cook the meal? Say no more! The cooking method highlights the core flavor of each ingredient, showing they only use quality meats, vegetables, and seafood.
And the atmosphere is oh-so-laid-back! We can see ourselves sitting there for hours after finishing the smoky ribeye steak and sipping our second glass of Fraisy Daisy. The combination of ash grey, marbled white, and brown colors elevates Lava's volcanic aesthetic. We love how they incorporate the big tree into the design. It just adds the charm and rustic vibe! We dare say that Lava succeeded in bringing fire and heat to the quaint Sanur!
FAQ

Reviews About Lava Gastrobar & Grill

Hi everyone! My name is Catur, and I was born and raised in Central Java. I moved to Bali in 2011 but left the island in 2016 before returning in 2018. Bali feels more than a home to me, and maybe that’s why my name feels like a premonition. Catur means four, both in the Balinese and Javanese languages. It is spoken like ‘c’ in chess, which is also the meaning of my name in Indonesian.
