Jalapeño Sanur

The food and service at Jalopeno is always amazing and consistent. Their tuna tartare tostada is the incredible highlight for me, with its beautiful balanced flavours and complex components, it truly is incredible. Thank you.

The ambiance, food and the crew who work this fabulous Mexican restaurant in Sanur and so great we went back twice! Cocktails were yummy and the Mexican food is interesting and unique as well as your old favorites too. Desert of hot Churos and ice cream top off the meal perfectly.!! See you next year x

I unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience with the service here\\. I was dining with a friend who is white, while I am Asian, and throughout the evening I felt a very noticeable difference in the way we were treated\\. At one point, the staff member offered my friend a complimentary shot of tequila while I was sitting right next to him\\. I was also ordering food and was clearly part of the dining experience, yet the staff member seemed to direct his attention almost exclusively toward my friend\\. He appeared interested in talking to my friend but showed very little interest in acknowledging or engaging with me\\. Because of this, I actually chose not to engage in conversation with him\\. It was quite clear from his behavior that he did not seem interested in speaking with me, and I felt uncomfortable trying to force an interaction\\. I cannot say with certainty what his intention was, but as an Asian customer, the difference in treatment made me feel excluded and left me wondering whether race or appearance played a role\\. Hospitality should be about making every guest feel equally welcomed, valued, and respected\\. Unfortunately, that was not how I felt during this visit\\. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that all guests receive the same level of attention and hospitality, regardless of their race or appearance.
