If you’re craving a truly authentic Italian meal in Bali, La Baracca Pizzeria is where you need to go. What sets it apart is its dedication to real Italian recipes—no shortcuts, just the kind of pizza and pasta that make you want to come back for more. There are plenty of Italian restaurants in Bali, but La Baracca is one that really nails it.

Located on Jalan Labuansait, the road that leads to some of Bali's best beaches like Suluban and Uluwatu Beach, finding La Baracca is easy. From the moment you walk in, the warm, friendly vibe makes you feel like you’ve just stepped into an Italian neighborhood pizzeria.

True to Italian tradition, everything is served just right—pizza on a wooden board, pasta on a wide plate. As soon as the dishes hit the table, the delicious aroma instantly whets your appetite. You can’t help but dig in, eager to taste every bite of the authentic Italian goodness. La Baracca isn’t just about food; it’s about feeling like you’re in Italy, even if you’re on the island of Bali.

Our experts expierence from La Baracca Pizzeria

Reservation

Though it is possible to do a walk-in, we advise you to make a reservation if you want to secure a table for a nice evening dining at La Baracca, Bali. You can also book a table via Chope or contact them directly on WhatsApp. You don't need to wait; their response comes quickly after sending a message.

The Parking Space

The parking space at La Baracca is quite spacious even when you arrive by car. During the day, the big tree at the parking lot acts as a roof to keep your motorbike seat from getting hot! We really appreciate this little detail at La Baracca.

Welcoming Service

Once we picked the menu, a few minutes later, we were served complementary sourdough oil and balsamic starters. The act of going the extra mile showed us the grand gesture of the Italian way of treating a guest.

Why do we choose La Baracca Pizzeria?

In its tenth year in Bali, we all agree that La Baracca has been through the highs and lows of having a restaurant business in Bali. We can appreciate the Italian spirit in keeping the tradition alive by reinventing the family recipe and combining them with the fresh ingredients in Bali. It's definitely not an easy route to take!

We have no further comments about the food; especially the pizza because it was so good! We also admired their decision to keep the cocktail menu classic ‒ we still remember the taste of the Mojito on our lips. If we come back, we will order the other pizza menus because we know they will be otherwordly.

Despite the waiting time and the portion that we believed wasn't appropriately priced, we still highly recommend La Baracca if you want authentic Italian dishes in Bali. With their branches in Canggu, Ubud, and Seminyak, you don't have to drive all the way to Uluwatu to taste their menus.

You NEED to try the eggplant parmigiana!!! It is the same as the best lasagna you ever had, you cant even taste the egg plant. This was my fave dish. We also met the manager, who is such a lovely Italian lady and it was a nice touch. Would come back for sure!

Hi everyone! My name is Catur, and I was born and raised in Central Java. I moved to Bali in 2011 but left the island in 2016 before returning in 2018. Bali feels more than a home to me, and maybe that’s why my name feels like a premonition. Catur means four, both in the Balinese and Javanese languages. It is spoken like ‘c’ in chess, which is also the meaning of my name in Indonesian.
