From the moment we stepped into the atrium, this extraordinary dining experience was as stunning as it was welcoming. The sunset views, the tastes, textures and combinations of expertly crafted dishes were matched by the many exquisite dining spaces as we were guided to the various dining spaces. The service was simply exceptional and we highly recommend a visit if you possibly can.

An exceptional experience – NXT Locavore & The Wood Rooms I had an incredible stay at The Wood Rooms and dining experience at NXT Locavore. From start to finish, everything felt incredibly considered, stylish and effortlessly on point. The accommodation beautiful — peaceful, private and surrounded by nature, while still feeling sophisticated and contemporary. The design is stunning, the room was exceptionally comfortable, and the attention to detail throughout really stood out. It’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the quieter side of Ubud. The highlight, however, was NXT Locavore. The food was exceptional — creative, beautifully presented and genuinely memorable. Every course felt thoughtful and surprising, with an incredible focus on local ingredients and flavours. The service was warm, knowledgeable and perfectly paced, making the whole evening feel like an experience rather than simply a meal. What really makes NXT special is how seamlessly the experience comes together. It feels intimate and exclusive without being pretentious. The staff are dedicated, passionate, curious and proud of the experience they offer. It was so nice to see Ray in the restaurant. He spoke to every table, such a privilege to speak to him several times throughout my stay. This restaurants continues to blow my mind with every mouthful and sip! I absolutely loved my time here and would highly recommend dining at NXT Locavore and staying at The Wood Rooms. The experience continued in the morning with coffee cupping, breakfast and a behind the scenes tour. to anyone looking for a truly special experience in Ubud. One of the best experiences I’ve had! Can’t wait to come back for the NXT experience!

From the moment you step onto the grounds of Locavore NXT you immediately feel like you\'ve been transported to another world. Then you enter the building and you feel like you\'ve been transported again. That feeling never stops because when you tour the building and start seeing and eating the food your experience continues to evolve. I\'ve never experienced anything like Locavore NXT before and it\'s really hard to describe in words. You really have to experience it for yourself. I highly recommend it.

We received an email informing us to wear comfortable shoes as you will be moving around. We are not new to chefs trying out new things and trying to be different (and almost eye rolled at reading it). This 100% is not a restaurant trying gimmicks to look special, this is a team that have truly thought about who they want to be and the experience connected with the food they served. From the moment you arrived to the moment you leave there is a theatre which feels intentional and part of the dining experience. This is helped by the food really delivering. The service is like watching an un-rushed military operation, it works quietly and efficiently, all with a warm friendliness. When we see low intervention wine pairings we normally groan, as you normally sacrifice enjoyment, however this was not the case here. The only areas of criticism for us was the Banana tree dish, neither of us could eat it. Bali/Indonesia government, you need to pay to bring the michelin guide to the island, if ever there is a restaurant overlooked this is it.
