Our Experience at the Honey Villa
There are four bedrooms at Honey Villa Ubud, and honestly, we had a hard time deciding which one to sleep in because each room offers comfort, and it doesn't matter if it's the master bedroom or the guest bedroom.

The Rooms
Each room at Honey Villa Ubud is dominated by brown and white, with wood, rattan accessories, and the potted plant in the corner providing an earthy vibe. The wooden floor felt cooler even without the air conditioning on, while the desk is provided in case you need to reply to an important email quickly.

The Facilities
We wouldn't mind spending a whole day around the Honey Villa Ubud property without going anywhere else.

Swimming Pool
Seven lounge chairs surround the outdoor pool so everyone can swim without feeling too crowded. The pool is also surrounded by vegetation, making it private enough from the surrounding buildings and shady enough as the afternoon approaches.

Barbeque
Do you want to invite your Bali friends to an afternoon barbeque? The Honey Villa Ubud has a griller in the swimming pool area. We didn't get the chance to use it, but we can confirm it to be the perfect spot for a fun barbeque party!

Gym
The gym equipment at Honey Villa Ubud is adequate enough if you want to have some cardio exercise. It's definitely better than many similar villas we've been to.

The Hanging Net
This picture-perfect Instagram spot will make your followers or closest friends jealous, as it overlooks the trees and the swimming pool. We have seen many similar features in a villa, but those at Honey Villa Ubud provide some of the best views!

What We Like and What We Don't
Staying at Honey Villa Ubud is an exceptional experience. We had a great time, but perfection doesn't exist. These are the things that we like and also what we think could be greatly improved.

What We Like
It is located in a quiet area of Ubud. Although it is not in the centre, we actually prefer it that way as the area is quite peaceful. Also, many of the attractions in Ubud are less than 30 minutes away, so we didn't miss anything.
The service at Honey Villa Ubud is top-notch! For everything that we needed, the staff at the villa was quick in responding. Not to mention, they answered most of our questions with great clarity. They were also very friendly and polite.
The rooms! We couldn't stop talking about the rooms at Honey Villa Ubud because they made it harder to get out of bed.
The Honey Villa Ubud is very clean, and everything is in order. Hygiene is important to us, and during our stay, everything was spotlessly clean.
Privacy at Honey Villa Ubud is a priority. There weren't many buildings nearby; instead, we were surrounded by trees and rice fields, guaranteeing privacy.
What We Don't
Access to Honey Villa Ubud. The small road is quite narrow, so you need to be extremely careful when driving a car. Also, you really need to pay attention to find this villa.
The stairs to the main building were starting to show signs of ageing. We didn't ask when the villa was built, but there were traces of moss on the stairs, making it look a bit dirty with the cream stones.
The absence of a hot tub. We expected a hot tub at the property, but it wasn't available. Though not crucial, we thought having a hot tub would produce more selling points and elevate the experience even further.

Expert Opinion About Honey Villa Ubud
If you’re planning to stay in Ubud, finding the perfect spot to unwind is key. Honey Villa Ubud ticks all the boxes for a dreamy Bali escape. It's not right in the heart of the city, but that’s exactly what makes it so special—the peace and quiet surrounded by nature is the ultimate vibe.
The villa has everything you need for ultimate comfort. The beds? So comfy, you’ll never want to leave them. The outdoor pool is perfectly placed for that afternoon chill, and the staff is on point, making sure everything runs smoothly.
It’s a bit off the main road (about 20 minutes from Ubud center), but trust us, it’s worth the short drive. The road to the villa is narrow, so be careful if you're driving, but the location feels like a hidden gem. Despite getting a little lost at first, we loved how well the villa is managed—every detail is designed for that cozy, home-away-from-home vibe.

How can you evaluate Honey Villa Ubud

Hi everyone! My name is Catur, and I was born and raised in Central Java. I moved to Bali in 2011 but left the island in 2016 before returning in 2018. Bali feels more than a home to me, and maybe that’s why my name feels like a premonition. Catur means four, both in the Balinese and Javanese languages. It is spoken like ‘c’ in chess, which is also the meaning of my name in Indonesian.
