What We Like and What We Don't about Yoga Barn
As impressive as the wellness programs and sessions at Yoga Barn are, there are a few things that made our experience a little less memorable. In general though, we only have positive experiences to bring home.

What We Like
The variety of classes every day is a heaven for wellness enthusiasts. With numerous options, The Yoga Barn deserves its accolade as the most complete wellness establishment on the island.
The accommodation and Garden Kafé make Yoga Barn a one-stop place for everything wellness. Not many places in Bali feature these three in one place, and it's certainly beneficial if you're coming to Bali strictly for wellness purposes.
All of the classes and workshops scheduled are released in one calendar month. This makes it easier for you to choose and build your plan to visit The Yoga Barn.
An array of professional teachers are present in all classes and workshops. The short bios of every teacher are present on the website, so you can easily check their credentials.
The online classes really are a game-changer! Though not all courses are available online, we appreciate that they also have online yoga for those of you who cannot attend the class directly.
What We Don't
The place can feel too commercialised. Although the popularity of Yoga Barn is undeniable, it can sometimes feel too crowded in a class and defy the purpose of having peaceful practice.
The different classes and schedules can be a little intimidating for beginners. With so many different types of yoga, meditations, and classes, this can be overwhelming for anyone who is a beginner and unfamiliar with many yoga terms and definitions ‒ although this can also be a plus point for those familiar with yoga and wellness in general.
The no-booking policy for the yoga class. The system means that you have to be there at least 45 minutes before class, so there's a chance you might not get into the class due to full capacity. Since they have the app, we don't understand why they don't use this as the booking system.

Expert Opinion about Yoga Barn
There shouldn't be any question about where to go in Ubud because there are many Ubud activities that you can do and explore. Going to Yoga Barn may not be on everyone's agenda, but we can assure you that it's certainly the kind of trip you'll never forget. If you're searching for a wellness, meditation, or detox retreat in Bali, Yoga Barn is the perfect place for all your needs.
The daily class schedule with different types of yoga, holistic healing, meditation, and workshops has really impressed us. However, we also have to admit that it can be overwhelming for those unfamiliar with wellness and who need some pointers. Online booking for daily classes is an addition we hope will be shortly.
Yoga Barn is the ideal place for experiencing a spiritual journey in Bali, beyond more than just meditation and healing. Saying it's the best yoga in Bali is an understatement because the Yoga Barn team are skilled in ensuring that you get to rejuvenate and know your inner self a little bit better.

How can you evaluate

Hi everyone! My name is Catur, and I was born and raised in Central Java. I moved to Bali in 2011 but left the island in 2016 before returning in 2018. Bali feels more than a home to me, and maybe that’s why my name feels like a premonition. Catur means four, both in the Balinese and Javanese languages. It is spoken like ‘c’ in chess, which is also the meaning of my name in Indonesian.
