frankly disappointing experience. travelled to get here for lunch - was only told that they didn’t have the wagyu onigiri when we were ready to order. since it’s one of their signature menus that we’d been eyeing, i would have appreciated being informed of this before we’d sat down.
food: mentaiko onigiri was a fluorescent pink which makes me think that they used some type of instant packet? however the mentaiko topped on my pasta was definitely fresh and very tasty. curry doria was quite underwhelming and tasted cheap, something i’d be able to whip up at home with leftover ingredients.
drinks: the iced matcha latte was also a strange shade of green (which normally i would be okay with, but this is a japanese cafe hence i’d expected they use quality matcha). it was also clumpy…my partner got a himalayan latte which was too sweet hence we asked for more milk, and they only told us it’s extra charges after they’d portioned out the milk into a syrup cup and served it to us.
ambience: really nice and well decorated, the pastries also look great though we did not try them.
this was our last lunch in bali so we were sorely disappointed with the experience and the mediocre food

We come in the afternoon for a coffee and it’s great. The food also looks amazing; gonna try breakfast next time.
Himalayan & ice lemon soda black was good (ice lemon is better).
Almond croissant and salty bread was also good; love it! And after 6pm they gave us 50% off it.
Parking was spacious & there’s a small children’s playground
