La Naya Has Changed — A fair and square updated review from a regular who went from loving this place to having the worst experience. [14 August 2026] I have visited La Naya several times and even left a 5-star review 5 months ago (attached below). Unfortunately, this recent visit was completely terrible. I came here to do my usual remote work with my partner; both of us planned to work on our laptops. When we asked for a table with a power outlet, the staff refused to seat us, claiming those tables were reserved for groups of four. I have worked here alone at that exact table setup multiple times before, but this time they refused us and placed a \"Reserved\" sign on it. When I asked if it was actually reserved, they admitted it wasn\'t. I say \"they\" because this wasn\'t just one person—two or three different staff members showed the same double standards. There was none of the usual friendly service with a smile; they simply dropped our food on the table and walked away. They didn\'t even react when we sarcastically pointed out, \"the table is already full.\" Poor service level all around. Meanwhile, foreign guests were seated at the 4-person tables with no issue—couples and even solo guests occupying entire 4-seater booths. Both of us needed access to a charger, and that specific table is the only one with two power outlets. Is it because we are local guests, and they assumed we wouldn\'t spend much? That couldn\'t be further from the truth. We ordered more than the guests around us—our table was completely full, to the point where cutlery barely fit because of all the food and drinks we kept ordering. Instead, they forced us to use a single power outlet on the opposite wall and take turns charging, all while the table with the dual outlets sat empty and unreserved. They also allowed another guest to switch tables freely without asking permission or ordering anything new. When the foreign guests at the 4-seater left, the staff didn\'t offer to move us; instead, they let another solo guest sit there who didn\'t order a single thing for his first 30 minutes, just charging his laptop and working without any staff complaints. Unacceptable double standards and disappointing service. ----- [March 2026] Great place for brunch in the middle of Seminyak and perfect for working remotely. The ambience is comfortable and inspiring, the coffee is excellent, and the pastries are delicious.

Beautiful little spot! Nice and quiet with a great menu and pricing. The staff are so friendly, I was served my Dwi who gave me the most perfect service. Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend

Honestly, the place and food are delicious, but the service is bad. I wanted to sit on the sofa, but they said I couldn\'t because the seats were for four, but there were two people sitting on the sofa and they were occupying the four-person seat. Oh no, I\'ll never come here again.
