All You Need to Know Before Coming to Baked

Reservations
Enjoying all the goodness at Baked doesn't require a prior reservation. You can just show up and find a table. But this café in Bali can be packed during breakfast hours, so consider coming a little early if you want to be sure of a spot. If you cannot find a table, takeaway and delivery options are also available.

First Impression
The aroma of freshly baked bread is the first thing you notice as you walk through the door, thanks to the open kitchen settings at Baked. Once you place an order and pay, the staff will give you a number, and your order will be delivered to your table. There are also a few outdoor seats at the front and on the second floor ‒ which also functions as a merchandise store.

What We Like and What We Don't
We enjoyed every bite of the bakery and pastries at Baked, but a few things can be improved on to create a more rounded experience.

What We Like
The baked goods are always fresh and are some of the best in Bali. There is no doubt about the pastries and bread at Baked. The buttery croissant is unbeatable and one of the most delicious on the island.
The coffee at Baked is unbelievably good! As a place that specialises in coffee in addition to baked goods, the coffee here is beyond expectation.
The industrial design and the open kitchen. There aren't many cafés with an open kitchen concept in Bali, so Baked already stands out. The industrial design also evokes openness and creativity.
The staff are professional and friendly. The true test of professional staff is when the place is packed and also how they handle complaints. The staff at Baked did a great job when we visited, and the place was full.
Popular among tourists and locals alike. Baked has never been empty, and its popularity means the quality of its service and products has stayed consistent over the years. Something hard to achieve in a competitive market like Bali!
What We Don't
The long wait during peak hours. This has been an ongoing issue at Baked as you have to wait to get a seat due to the high number of visitors. Opening other branches hasn't seemed to help either as people still prefer to go to the Baked in Berawa.
Parking is limited, especially for cars. Though there is dedicated parking for cars, it's easier to arrive here on a motorbike as there is enough space for them.
You need to come early; otherwise, nothing will be left on the display menu. If you arrive after 11, the baked goods are mostly gone, and the options are few. They don't seem to have enough stock to last.

Expert Opinion About Baked
As one of the most popular places for breakfast in Bali, Baked has a reputation to uphold. After four years since its opening, we can confirm that they haven't lost it. On the contrary, Baked has become even more popular now than ever.
There are many cafés in Bali offering pastries and bread, but we couldn’t help but fall head over heels for the baked goods and excellent coffee at Baked. Moreover, the aroma of the freshly baked goods upon entering the café really sets up the mood. The value for money, with the portion and the taste, is justified, and the place really invites you to sit and enjoy your coffee.
Despite issues like long queues and limited parking, Baked's seamless ordering system would improve any café in Bali. So, if you're looking to experience Benny or Best Scramble for the first time, Baked will cast its magic on you through its food and atmosphere.

How can you evaluate Baked Cafe

Hi everyone! My name is Catur, and I was born and raised in Central Java. I moved to Bali in 2011 but left the island in 2016 before returning in 2018. Bali feels more than a home to me, and maybe that’s why my name feels like a premonition. Catur means four, both in the Balinese and Javanese languages. It is spoken like ‘c’ in chess, which is also the meaning of my name in Indonesian.
