You usually don't need a reservation if you come on a weekday, but during weekends or national holidays, this place can get really crowded. So, if you want to be safe, especially if you're coming in a group, it's better to book first via phone or DM their Instagram.
Milk & Madu's parking lot is quite sufficient for the often-crowded Canggu. There's a motorcycle parking lot and a few slots for cars, but it can get packed during lunchtime. If you're having trouble finding parking, there are usually some parking attendants who will help you find the nearest spot.
From the moment we walked in, the vibe was one of warmth and welcoming. The staff were quick to respond and hospitable — they even helped us find a high chair for the kids without being asked. The food comes in a reasonable amount of time, the plating is nice, and the flavors are consistently good. Once you're done eating, you're not rushed to leave, you can hang out and catch up over coffee or work still.
