We went for lunch, two of us. The restaurant was not busy, but when we entered, nobody acknowledged, so we stood there for a moment and then walked up to the bar and just asked do you have a menu. The guy just pointed in the general direction where they had promotion cards, drinks, menus, and other menus, no service, just pointed. Things changed and improved when the waiter finally arrived with a very small, but complementary plate of chips with some salsa. The green and the brown dips were flavorful, but not really salsa, just sort of a mushy thick blend of stuff. We ordered some guacamole and chips to tie us over. There was only about eight chips on the plate, but the guacamole was plentiful. Having said that, they are using the watery local cheap avocados instead of hot avocados, which are rich and creamy and now readily available in Bali. They likely need to up their game on the avocado selection. Nothing really special about this restaurant at all, not the food, not the service. Probably wouldn’t go back, instead would pick one of the other plentiful Mexican restaurants in the Canggu area.
