Longtime Bali

We had such a wonderful dinner at Longtime! The restaurant is really pretty and has such a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious — we especially loved the fried rice and massaman curry! The service was incredible. A special mention to Yogi, who was so lovely and made us feel very welcome and well looked after throughout the evening. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in Bali!

I came here bymyself late night and had a great confo with the bartender, I ask for whatever cocktail he recommends for my preferencesss, it turns out great taste I’ll stop by anytime soon for another cocktail and meals

Booked a dinner slot at 6pm, and was told that they have a 2hours dining time. Sure. Was greeted by good reception, liked the place because it has such a good ambiance. We started ordering all of our foods around 630pm. Started of with the drinks, which was very great, enjoyed it very much. We ordered entrées and main dishes for our dinner here. Started off with the starters, which tastes very good. The boneless ayam goreng tasted amazing. The tuna salmon was okay. The nightmare begins when after almost waiting for 45 minutes for our main dish. Which took absurdly long while we watched our tables who came after us, received their food first. Dish finally arrives around 730pm, which was carefully explained. I think we ordered Pad Siew and Mapo Lasagna. To be really honest, from the way the guy explaining the two dishes. which i assumed was, probably the chef, or the supervisor wearing a black shirt, we were expecting to be amazed by the dish. I remembered him saying, this dish, is best to be eaten by itself. No need to be add a little bit more of the served lime sauce. The food, turns out to be, very, average at best? The pad siew was so sweet that the soy sauce was actually overpowering everything else. Was very dissapointed with the flavour, after a good 2 mins of explaining the dish, which we were supposed to be amazed of. The mapo lasagna was...... another big dissapointment. I would really recommend looking again on refining the taste, because, that doesn\'t even taste like one. Or probably it was just because our tastebud was just adjusted to the usual beef lasagna. But still, it wasnt that, wow factor. I think my biggest issue with the place comes when we are still trying dining. Note that the food came at 732pm to be exact. Which kept us waiting after we finished our entrees, up to a point where i have to ask for the waiter to ask about where our food was. Because the food came in late, so it was normal to take our time to finish up too. Here comes the part where i almost burst out with the chef/supervisor wearing the black shirt. 2 hours dinner slot timing, fine. But the food came at 730pm, which is not even our fault. 810pm, he came over and said asking if anyone explained abt the 2 hours slot, and theres another reservation after 8pm. Cool. But was it really our fault though that your food came late? Was been offered to a table elsewhere if we were to continue our dinner, but was it really necessary? Halfway eating the foods when the food arrived almost 45 mins after we ordered, and suddenly, \"oh if you want to continue your dinner, you can but we\'ll move your table elsewhere.\" And he kept on persisting. Wow. Never have we received this kind of treatment in Indonesia. When our main dish was still half of the plate. At this point, i asked for the bill and get out of the place. Honestly, i don\'t think ive ever left a bad review for places in Bali, ever at all. But this one really deserved it after that kind of service. Drinks were good though. Entrees too.
