This was one of the best meals in Bali during our trip to Ubud. This is more than just a restaurant with good food, but the one that gives you a memorable experience you’ll never forget. Their menu options are not as plenty, but that’s what made it truly special as each and every 1 of them are well executed!
The staff here are friendly, professional, and informative, and gave us good recommendations to choose from the menu, while also ensuring it meets our dietary requirements. Top notch hospitality from start to finish!
The place has a very nice ambience, with semi-indoor seatings, with warm interiors, with nice views, especially during the evening. There is live music at night, which elevates the overall vibes. But the highlight was definitely the foods. From appetizer to dessert, each of them are well made.
The appetizers were definitely the highlight, especially the woodfired bread, simple yet one of the best tasting dishes. The charred bell peppers were also great, with nice smoky flavours from the bell peppers, paired with creamy cashew cream, and we like the addition of crunch from the sourdough. The smoked burrata and octopus was also a great one, each of them have exceptional flavours, and different textures that blend in harmony.
For the mains, each of them are well executed and made our dinner memorable, and finessing more of the details would elevate the overall experience. The best part was the charcoal barramundi, with perfectly cooked fish, and the sauce made it special that we couldn’t forget. The duck frites was also our favourite, with crispy and tender duck, and the sauce paired really well with it. The barbequed chicken, woodfired pumpkin, and aromatic rice were also a good one and very well made. We thought the vodka pasta could be improved, even though it has a nice flavours from the cheese and the pasta was also al dente, but overall we thought it was quite flat as the acidic flavours were quite dominant.
As for the desserts, tried the rice pudding brulee and chocolate ganache. The rice pudding brulee was a great one, with the fruits in it that balanced the rice pudding perfectly and added a nice freshness to the dish. The chocolate ganache was so rich and decadent, with different textures that elevated the overall dish. We also tried the madeleine, which we thought could be better as it was quite dry.
Overall, this was one of our highlights during our trip in Ubud, and the foods made our dinner very memorable. Will definitely be back again when we come to Ubud and highly recommend trying this place for special occasions. Absolutely worth it!

Wow incredible evening spent here. The food was out of this world we had the bread and hummus then the duck. Wow wow wow. Only had such tasty food at a few Michelin starred restaurants in uk before but this wasn’t fussy or pretentious just amazing food. Live band was fantastic. Service was a bit fast though we got served dessert maybe 7 mins after ordering. I think they need to slow it all down a bit and pay attention to things like cutlery but they were all lovely attentive friendly and welcoming which is most important and I’m being very picky.
