By Putri, 2024.01.19

Massage salons are everywhere in Bali, and there are many different types of massages on offer. For example, traditional Balinese massages, ayurvedic options that use essential oils, hot stone massages that use smooth volcanic stones heated at a specific temperature, Swedish massages that focus on relaxation, deep tissue massages that work out some knots in muscles, reflexology treatments that focus on pressure points in hands and feet, Thai massages that add stretching to the mix, and so many more healing rituals!

We’ve carried out our research and come up with this list of the Top 8 massage salons in Bali:

The Legian Hotel’s Spa in Seminyak is one of the best luxury spas in Bali. Located within the beachside boutique GHM Inn, The Legian Hotel’s Spa offers a wide range of services, including massages (of course!), facials, and body treatments.

The spa experience is quiet and classic, with dull teak wood and a delicate, rich stylistic layout.

This calm extent of Seminyak Shoreline is sufficient in its possession, but we’ve included four single and two couple spa rooms set in a rich plant where natural advisors give classic Balinese recuperating procedures and cutting-edge wellness medicines. Yoga devotees will appreciate the truth that this noteworthy extravagant inn has an interior yoga studio as well as exterior cultivation. Hatha yoga courses in a beautiful environment with a stunning view are orchestrated regularly to upgrade the wellness treatments further.

8. The Organic Spa Seminyak

If you want to experience next-level pampering that will make you feel refreshed, The Organic Spa is definitely a great option. What I love about this place is how much emphasis they put on anything concerning hygiene. That’s why every time I visit, I get to really take in the atmosphere and the experiences that their expert therapist can give. The level of hospitality is just exceptional, even at times when I went there for their most affordable facial and nothing else. However, their staff can use the right techniques to relieve all kinds of aches, pains, and circulation issues. The prices for their services, like body massage, hot stone massage, body scrub, foot care, and nail care, are all very reasonable. From what I can see, they really put their heart into what they’re doing. Their masseuses will deliver if you’re looking for the best value for your money.

The Organic Spa offers various massage treatments inspired by the practices and traditions in different places. For example, there are a lot of options in the spa menu that are based on Eastern traditions. The aromatherapy massage is great if you want something to remove the friction between your hand and your body. There’s also kru kayu Bali massage, where bamboo sticks are used. My personal favourite is Japan’s shiatsu massage, which combines acupuncture and traditional Japanese techniques. And for Western travellers who miss home, you can also get a deep tissue massage (also known as Swedish massage) to help with muscular pain management.

If you’re looking to release the tension from your neck, shoulders, or anywhere else in your body, this Spa is in Seminyak, near the beach. If you have an appointment with their masseuse, you’ll be taken to the may be taken to the main room or a more private part of the building. If you need hair beauty treatments, you can head to the patio. The rest of the building is for showers.

Expert opinion

In my opinion, as a person who has been living in Bali for over ten years, I think that the best massages are to be found at:

Warwick Ibah Ubud, The Organic Spa Ubud, and The Edge Uluwatu.

The reason why I pick these three as my best is that they have very good customer service, therapists, an authentic massage style, good ambience, and hygiene. They also use high-quality products to give you the best treatment. In addition, they are very professional when it comes to giving massages.

Massage is one of the most popular activities in Bali and you will find hundreds of available salons throughout the island. A good massage can be one of the highlights of a trip to Bali. We hope that you pick the most suitable for your holiday in Bali!
