Desert Dwellers Live in Bali
Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe, better known as Desert Dwellers, started out as solo artists in the California and New Mexico deserts, producing and DJing music. They first crossed paths in the late ’90s on the renowned Moontribe scene and have since become widely recognised as two of the most innovative and productive American artists in the downtempo, psy-bass, and tribal trance scenes.
Combining the raw sounds of nature with expertly mixed deep bass, earthy percussion, ethereal vocals, and cross-cultural instruments, Amani and Treavor have created musical incense for the mind and body, taking a fresh approach to digital composition. Desert Dwellers’ global sounds unite the realms of dance and movement by bringing electronic music vibes to the yoga community and the sounds of yoga to the electronic dance scene.
